Code Domains

Selecting the Code Domains menu or link brings you to the List Code Domains page.  This page lists all Code Domains used in RebateWeb.  

From this page, you can use the Add Code Domain button or can view or edit a particular code domain by clicking on the code domain name.  

Code Domain Details

When you click on the code domain name, you come to the Code Domain Details key.  Here you can view the code domain name and description, as well as a list of the Code Values, with Short and Long Description for each, currently associated with that domain.  From this page, you can:

• Edit the Code Domain.  This allows you to change the description of the code domain itself.

• Add a Code Value.  This allows the entry of a new value together with its short and long descriptions.

• View a Code Value, by clicking on the value.  This brings you to a page where you can click on the Edit Code Value button, bringing you to another page where you can change the short and long descriptions for the code.

• Return to List.  This brings you back to the List Code Domains page.

This is not something to be done lightly, save for minor corrections to descriptions.  If a code domain is really used within RebateWeb, the list of codes is probably already determined and should not be changed.  At the least, consultations with the web developers are in order before changes are made.
